Wyoming is a digital consultancy that helps clients design, develop and optimise digital technologies. It serves global enterprise clients within life science, finance and tech sectors.
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to work on some of our larger client projects. Typically we work collaboratively with our client’s PM office, UX team, Engineering teams and often their other vendors. Experience of managing and operating within a complex matrixed client organisation would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll be able to demonstrate experience of managing complex (LAMP) web application development and integration projects, and ideally, be sufficiently familiar with AWS to feel confident directing/managing back end engineers.
Our ideal candidate will have worked in a digital agency/consultancy or ISV and has the necessary technical, communication and PM fluency to be able to steer and shape client requirements into actionable briefs for both UX and Engineering colleagues. Thereafter your drive, experience and enthusiasm will retain the commitment of all stakeholders throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered, on time, on spec and on budget.
Part tech, part planner, part diplomat and part strategist. You’ll enjoy using your skills and experience to ask the right questions that enable the development of pragmatic win:win solutions regardless of timescale or budget.
You’ll be a persuasive communicator (verbal and written) who can inspire confidence amongst senior decision makers. You’re unlikely to be daunted by the prospect of reaching out and asking for what you need.
A healthy sense of humour combined with an unshakeable faith in the restorative powers of beer/wine/pizza/tapas would also be a distinct advantage!
What we offer:
A highly competitive package, together with a flat, friendly and progressive environment where we try to remember it's work, it’s not a lifestyle! So, whilst we do have intense periods of work from time to time, we're careful to ensure that we don't forget the importance of still being able to have a laugh (frequently at ourselves!)
In the first instance, please send us your CV together with a quick note telling us why you think you're a good match for the role.
